Welcome to Victoria Occupational Medicine. We have been providing occupational medical assessments since 2021.
Our clinic dates for 2023 are: Saturdays March 18, April 15, May 13 and June 10. We use an automated booking system. You may book online by clicking on the specific service you require and following the prompt.
We are not running our clinic in July and August 2023. The fall clinic dates will be announced once confirmed.

DR. T. SIU
Transport Canada Civil Aviation Medical and Marine Medical Examiner
Dr. Siu began his career as a Flight Surgeon for the Royal Canadian Air Force at CFB Cold Lake flying on the F18 with 410 Squadron. He cared for aviators on multiple airframes (e.g. CF-188, CT-155, CP-140, CH-124) on domestic and international operations. Dr. Siu finished his military medical career as the Fleet Surgeon for the Royal Canadian Navy Canadian Fleet Pacific. He was responsible for the medical care of hundreds of sailors, submariners and divers.
Dr. Siu is an Associate of the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine

DR. IAN KIRBY
Undersea/Hyperbaric Medicine
Dr. Kirby began his Occupational Medical career as a Dive Medical Advance physician with the Royal Canadian Navy and a Flight Surgeon for the Royal Canadian Air Force deploying on many domestic and international operations. He has completed an Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship at University California San Diego and is a Certified Medical Fitness Examiner for:

FRANCE MURDOCH
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
France is a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) with 25 years of primary care experience in Ontario and British Columbia. In her current role with the Canadian Forces Health Services Centre (Pacific), she is responsible for the health and wellbeing of military members, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team. A significant part of her work at the Esquimalt Naval Base focuses on ensuring service members are fit for their challenging duties. It is through this clinical work that she has developed an interest in the field of Occupational Medicine.

DEBORAH WALKER
Registered Nurse
Deborah is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience. She worked at the Royal Jubilee Hospital for 15 years before moving to the Canadian Forces Health Services Centre (Pacific) as the Primary Care Nurse/Team Lead for an integrated team of Medical Professionals caring for Military Members. Deborah retired in 2020 from the Base Clinic but has continued to work in the community doing COVID screening, immunizations and Nursing Assessments for Veterans Affairs Canada.
